PROBLEM SOLVED!!

The most difficult part of this repair, was removing the broken gear. I drove the roll pin from the inboard side. I then cut it off with a Dremel cut off wheel, then removed it entirely. I used a new pin putting the gearmotor back in. The predrilled hole and the included drill bit, using a drill press, went easily. Using a bench grinder, I ground the shaft down to fit. I could not find a use for the wire tie. I used the included grease to pack the gearbox. It works just like new.
