Fit & Finish, Walk & Talk

When I received my knife, I was surprised how well it was constructed. The fit & finish I would rate as superior. It is easy open and the blades are well adjusted. I can’t stand a knife that breaks finger nails. This knife impresses immediately and you will not be disappointed.

Canteen Cup Tuesday

On YouTube there is a phenomenon called “Canteen Cup Tuesday”. You can see videos about what can be cooked in a canteen cup. Now I can be a “Bigfella” with this awesome titanium cup & lid. Top of the line quality !!! You will not be disappointed. This cup is bigger than a USGI cup and is loose on a USGI canteen. I’m going to enjoy making coffee & ramen noodle soup at the flea market with mine. I also hike as much as I can. 17 miles one way in a day is my record. That’s when every ounce counts. Shank Repair Tools for Trumpet Mouthpiece

This is a well made tool for when you drop your mouthpiece on a hard surface. The sleeve is simple but works so well. First you place the sleeve over the shank to prevent outward expansion. Then you insert the mandrel tool into the small opening of the shank. Apply light pressure and the shank is caught between the sleeve & mandrel. So simple but a round opening is assured every time. This tool works only on trumpet shank mouthpieces, not cornet. The sleeve is the same size as a trumpet shank. I suppose the mandrel will work on any mouthpiece that you can fit it into. I highly recommend this tool set for all trumpet players. You can’t miss !!!
