Better than NiCad
Has more staying power the the NiCad I replaced and it is very affordable.

It was worth the wait for the stars to be inperfect alignment!!
The lens is actually nicer than the EBAY ad posting. No scratches or dust on the shinny polished bright aluminum bayonet base of the lens, like new, shoots good too.
Thanks, I have been lusting for this lens from the first time I saw a photo posted on the PENTAX Forum. It is heavy though but I think I can deal with the extra weight. Afterthought, my grandson gets the DA 18 - 135 wr for Christmas.
