Zoo Tycoon - Maybe
My 8 year old son purchased this game and soon grew tired of it. It is complicated to figure to begin, but once you get started it is okay. He did eventually figure it out. To me, it reminds me of the "zoo games" for the Kindle or iPad. The question above about the compelling gameplay... It would certainly depend on the type of play you are looking.
