Better than The Matrix, IMHO
1 von 1 finden das hilfreich This movie and Dark City are two of the most underrated and awesome sci-fi films ever. I actually like The Thirteenth Floor better than The Matrix. For me The Matrix was based on a great concept but that concept got overshadowed by all the glitzy special effects, explosions, gratuitous "Hollywood" style action scenes, etc. The Thirteenth Floor has terrific special effects, awesome cinematography, good acting and nothing overshadows the basic concept behind the idea of a digitally simulated reality.
