NEW Chevrolet, GMC,Cadillac, Buick Cigarette Power Outlet Plug Cover Retainer,GM ( NOT ! )

This was not original equip for my 2010 GMC SLE. I had to take the cover off the new one and modify my broken one, One hour playing with it using my old bezel and the new cover, filing off excess material to allow the outlet plug to snap in place. It was a rainy day so I took the time to make it work. Should have gone to a GM dealer.

What am I missing?

Received and opened, the trend package was empty, no disc and no way to activate. This trend package has to be activated at Best Buy at the register in order to use the activation code supplied. Cannot be downloaded with out purchasing from Best Buy Fraudulent ?
