Utterly Fantastic

If you want a decent personal CD player, choose Sony. This model specifically; Volume isn't limited to death thanks to being designed and manufactured in 2001 (before the loudness war crept into CD players), the ESP is decent as in most Walkmans and the sound quality is good. If you still listen to CDs on the go, try to pick up one of these.

Sap, Alice's first Acoustic venture.

Alice in Chains' Sap EP of 1992 was released initially only in North America, having been reproduced in '95 for the European market. This 4-track EP opens up a more gentle, yet still dark and apathetic, side of the band. Teaming up with the likes of Chris Cornell and Mark Arm, brings out not only Layne's ever powerful vocals but also shines a light on how creative Jerry could be with regards to writing music. The collaboration with Chris Cornell, forming " Alice Mudgarden", for the song "Right Turn" shines the beautiful harmony between Cornell & Staley, exploding into a raspy, loud duet at the end of the track. Staley's harrowing and thought provoking lyrics are heard loud and clear on the track "Am I Inside" backed up with the well-suited riffs of Jerry Cantrell. "Love Song", the EP's hidden track, well... I'll just let you buy the EP. This review was done by a fan, not a critic. Whilst it is short and to-the-point, I hope I have done the EP justice.
