Shoulda done this years ago
I kept seeing gear reduction starters so finally decided to buy one as I was changing transmissions and it would be a good time. The starter is configured nicely to make it easier to install on my 84 F250 with a diesel engine. The connector for the little wire is a bit strange but works nicely and the big hot wire is now pointing down so very easy to connect. If you have an old 6.9 or 7.3 diesel engine get one of these, you will be happy you did.

From the picture I thought it came with a needle, it doesn't so also order one. Seems to be well made and am happy with it.

Keep it cool
The radiator fits like original just note it has a bit of a different drain petcock so you will need to remove the battery box to fit it in place. It apparently only comes set up for an automatic transmission but still works for my manual. Remember to buy a new radiator cap as this does not come with one.
