Excellent product. Remember, if you're buying one of these better quality leads for a 'multimode' type rig, then you'll need to uprate the fitted fuse
1 von 1 finden das hilfreich Both the three pin and the two pin power leads are are a good quality product. They are clearly and correctly listed as being fitted with a 2 amp fuse. This fuse is correct if the power leads are going to be used for powering a standard 4 watt 40 channel radio. However, if the intended use is going to be to power one of the 'multimode' type radios that have a higher power output, then a higher rated fuse will need to be obtained separately and fitted. Follow the the particular radio manufacturers instructions as to the fuse rating required and always use a 'fast blow' type. The above advice is probably obvious to most buyers of this product, but I would advise the seller to perhaps make this clearer in the listing to avoid any confusion for less knowledgeable buyers.
