pretty darn illuminating re what it's all about (... even beats the HOkey POkey)
If you buy only one sous vide book in your lifetime to guide your sous vide cooking lifetime, this is the one to acquire. It approaches the method as a science.

A book I cannot put down
Extraordinary value. $5 for a $35 book. Near new condition (probably only read once before by a book loving / respecting reader).
Great book. Much fun. David Foster Wallace at his comical best (... may he rest in peace).
