The best solution

The best match for the Cobra VHF radio. "Nearly" Plug & Play. There are actually two cables coming out of the unit. One is the data cable that plugs directly into your Cobra VHF radio. It has a different size round connector similar to a headphone plug but the smaller size makes it so you cannot get it mixed up and accidentally plug it into the External Speaker jack which is right next to it. The second cable coming from the GPS "antenna" is for power. Simple Red and Black wires are bundled together and plenty long enough to reach a 12v power source. It is more than just a wire antenna. It communicates with the Satellites to get location data as well as time data and converts the information into an industry standard format before sending the coordinates to the radio. Once powered up, it instantly shows my coordinates on the screen of my radio. In my driveway, it was within 3 feet accuracy. Your mileage may vary.

Good Fit

It fit the small end of my bimini brace perfectly. Had to dig the old piece out because it was crimped in then this one needed to be ground down to clear the crimp but a set screw added keeps it in place. I only needed 1 so, now I have a spare just in case.
