4 great films
The Big Parade and Wings are very entertaining and emotional silent films, they look fantastic on DVD. Wings was the first ever Academy Award Best Picture winner in 1927 but if the Academy Awards existed 2 years earlier than The Big Parade would've won Best Picture in 1925.
The Dawn Patrol with Errol Flynn and David Niven is a very good film with great actors and Sgt York with Gary Cooper is a classic and not to be missed. Sgt York comes with a second disc of extras which is great, one documentary is narrated by Liam Neeson and a second documentary is hosted by Clint Eastwood.
The slip case packaging is awesome and this was a very great deal that I was able to purchase for under $10. Definitely worth purchasing!

Awesome classics!
The three films in this set are great and none are available on bluray yet as of this review so it was well worth purchasing.
Hell is for Heroes is a terrific WWII film with Steve McQueen and is directed by Don Siegel who later went on to direct Dirty Harry. McQueen's squad of US Army soldiers has to take a pillbox held by Germans and the finale was awesome and not to be missed.
In Harm's Way is another great movie, this time about the US Navy during WWII with John Wayne and Kirk Douglas. There are other famous actors in smaller roles like Burgess Meridith, Henry Fonda, George Kennedy and Carroll O'Connor. It's mostly a drama but there are some great naval battles and is done really well for the time.
The Bridges of Toko-Ri is a classic about US Navy fighter pilots during the Korean War. A lot of great footage of the aircraft and carriers of the time. This film was a definite inspiration to the makers of Top Gun and should not be missed by any Naval Aviation enthusiast.
Highly recommend!
