September 11: a Testimony
3 von 3 finden das hilfreich This book contains over 250 color photographs of September 11 and the immediate days that followed. It is a simple book-each color photo is present with a one or two sentence caption. These moving photos really need no explanation. I purchased this book to share with my students in the classroom. For children, this day is far away and memory dims for the rest of us. I recommend this book for its simple presentation, moving photographs and the dignified portrayal of this tragic event.

Glowing colors
Beautiful fall tablecloth. After three washings the colors have mellowed to a lovely shade. I put in in the dryer and it held its shape - only shrank a little. I take it from dryer to the table and it does not need ironing. Recommend.

1 von 1 finden das hilfreich This is a collection of obituaries that appeared in the New York Times-but it is really more than that. These are little snapshots of people who lost their lives on Sep. 11. I purchased this book to share with my class in an effort to put a human face on this tragedy. It honors the memory of these everyday people who were happy living their lives. Each short memory contains a small black and white photo of the individual. The book contains other black and white photos of that terrible day. It iss an excellent book but printed on paper that is not highest quality. I recommend purchase as a historical treasure trove of what was lost that day.
