Beautiful adaptation of classic Amish quilt design.
I've always been drawn to the Amish quilt aesthetic of bright colors on a black background, so was drawn to this design immediately! I received the pattern from the seller very quickly, much quicker than I could have hoped for. The design is amazing, and the instructions and graph well explained and graphed. It is a very complex design, but the way the graph is blown up, and printed in quarters of the design, makes the graph very easy to follow. The price was very reasonable, especially when compared to the amount of work that went into the creation of the design, the instructions, and the graphing. I would purchase pretty much anything that this seller offered because of the quality of their work. I would also highly recommend their designs to anyone who enjoyed doing this type of needlework.

Great character and plot development!
This third novel in the Bridgerton saga is another excellent story by Julia Quinn. She never disappoints! She builds tension between the main characters that is resolved by the end of the book. I also love that, for each story in the series, she has written an epilogue (sometimes two!) that take the characters into their future. Another mechanism that she uses in her writing that is very effective, is that each of the main characters has a back story that is not apparent at the beginning of the book, but is revealed a little at a time as situations arise in the course of the story. I am very much looking forward to book four!

Found it at last!
This Dritz thimble has been around for a long time, and was once readily available in sewing and craft stores. I had one, which quickly became my favorite, and eventually disappeared into a project. Imagine my disappointment when I could no longer find a replacement in any of the usual places. So, I resorted to eBay, and quickly found a seller who offered four of them. I bought them all. A few months ago I decided that I wanted one to gift my Secret Pal, and again, not to be found in the stores. Back to eBay, and once again found them with a seller who had two, and bouht both of them.
What makes this thimble so special is that it is adjustable to any size finger. When my hands are ice cold, it fits as well as when my hands are swollen. Being lightweight plastic, it doesn't make your finger sweat, has no splinters, and doesn't discolor or irritate the skin. It is also really easy to keep clean with a little soap and water. I highly recommend this product to anyone looking for a quality, durable thimble.
