Useless lens
I bought this package mostly for the adapter tube which was a perfect fit for my FZ70. An extra battery always comes in handy and the filters are good. My issue is with the conversion lens, which are pretty useless. Very poor quality and all attempts at adjustment etc. still result in blurry images with fuzzy edges. The telephoto 2.5x is a complete waste of time as I noticed no increase in magnification. As I said before, if you're buying this for the other items it's good value when compared to the genuine Panasonic lens adapter, which costs a bit more. The Bower tube is great quality, fits perfectly and I would still recommend this kit if it contained only that and the battery!

A truly excellent product
I bought this for my Panasonic Lumix DMC-FZ70 and I'm completely satisfied. The build quality, ease of use and superb image results are outstanding. I have tried some handheld shots but while some of them came out quite well, to get really high magnification I recommend a sturdy tripod. The depth of field is very small, which is fine as unwanted background items are easily blurred.
I strongly endorse this product for any photographer who wants to get really close-up shots of his subject matter. I've started looking all over for insects and other small things to inspect and shoot, it's very rewarding to be able to get nice detailed images of them!
