Good kit - good service
The least-known release of this evergreen kit from Hasegawa. Molds are still good and the decals are actually white, not "ivory." Beats the daylights out of JHobbyboss Corsairs - still.

Outstanding kit - the only one in 1/48 that does the first MiG-15
The only 1/48 kit of the early MiG-15 that fought the battles of 1951 "the year of the Honcho." A simplified "snap-tite" version of the earlier Trumpeter kit - that's a good thing! If you cut off the snap-tite attachment points, you can assemble the parts tightly enough if you do so carefully, so that you do not need any filler or putty anywhere. Be careful with the decals - they want to stick to the first thing they touch, so be sure there is a lot of water on the surface you're moving them to. Also stay away from them till they set, because they will stick to your hand and then you've ruined everything.
