Excellent 4.3" Garmin GPS
Little brother to the newer, larger-screen units, but a very nice GPS in its own right. Fast satellite acquisition, horizontal / vertical switchable display including split-screen for intersections, easily web-updated (via Garmin Express) to the latest firmware and maps, custom-POI capable, and up to 32Gig of extra memory available via the micro SD card slot. It's also real-time traffic capable. The only difference between the LM (Lifetime Maps) and the LMT (maps + Traffic) versions of this GPS is Garmin includes the traffic-receiver power cable (available separately) with the LMTs. All in all, an excellent little Garmin.

What a find for the Crown Victoria restorer!
What a find! This particular book is a compilation of several Car & Parts magazine's monthly articles about their complete restoration of a 1955 Ford Crown Victoria. The project was originally presented in serialized form, with progress on their restoration efforts presented as a new article each month in the magazine. One month was engine rebuilding, another was how to rebuild the steering box, another was..., well, you get the picture. And there were lots of pictures, too. Admittedly, some of the procedures and products they used back then have been replaced, improved, or just plain disappeared, but the basic concepts about preparation and attention to detail remain the same. This book brings it all together in one publication, and it is still an interesting and informative source about how to restore one of the '50s most iconic cars. Anyone owning, or in particular restoring, one of the classic 1955 or 1956 Crown Victoria cars should try to find one of these and snatch it up - it's well worth the price, and definitely worth the read!

A Great Restoration Resource
Purchased this book to assist in a shop restoration of a customer's car that had been completely disassembled by others prior to arrival. Can't really say if this book is the "Be All - End All" of MG guides or source material, but can definitely say that it is a valuable restoration resource. Well written, with clarifying notes on model differences, engine details, identifying markings, etc. This also a very visual guide with clear, high quality, usually color (or colour!) photos showing details of construction and trim-out that are invaluable when restoring a car with no "before" photos to use as guides. The quality of the book itself (hardback, high-grade paper and printing, full dust cover) is also such that it could easily serve as a 'coffee table' book in its own right. Highly recommend!
