Respected work but largely out of date
This is the most recent edition and there hasn't been a new one for 9 years. Although it is dated after the last parts of the Companies Act 2006 came into force, it still refers to some provisions and law that derive from the Companies Act 1985. A lot has changed in almost a decade. This is a well-respected work but in desperate need of an update. Useful for historical reference and some of the 2006 Act providing it hasn't been revised, but I would not recommend it for either students or practitioners as, although this edition is still being sold new, it is not recent enough to be relied on as an accurate statement of the law in this ever changing area.

One of the Best Contract Law Texts
Other than Chitty, which is the practitioner's bible on contract law (but way too expensive if you have to pay for it yourself) this is one of the best texts along with Anson. This edition is now rather out of date and the fourteenth edition is slightly better but, as you can pick up this edition for a couple of pounds and contract law hasn't changed that much in the intervening 3 years, this is worth getting if you need a good contract law book for study or practice.

Fantastic Sound
1 von 1 finden das hilfreich This is a blu-ray audio disc (no video) and the sound is amazing. You can hear every sound that comes out of George’s mouth and feel you are right in the audience with everyone else. Worth the 3 x the CD price.
