Easier to install than I anticipated. I ended up not needing the ball bearings, but it was reassuring to know I had them if I lost the originals.

This fingerlift is awesome! I simply cannot believe how well it works! Ergonomically perfect! Highly recommended!

More than just a switchbox. Great preamplifier!
Very handy for connecting components directly to a power amplifier. I use it with a vintage tube amp. It has a variable output option, so if you are a fan of "straight wire with gain" for a preamp, this is about as close to that as you will find.
PLUS, the moving magnet phono stage is great! I figured on a unit like this the phono stage would be added as a gimmicky afterthought, but it is very good.
Overall, a fine audio preamplifier. If you can find one in good condition for under $100 (and can live without tone controls), it is a high value bargain. YMMV, of course.
