right on
fits like a glove and performs as a hood should.....have gotten one these hoods in each lens filter size I have.....not all are 3 position mostly just 2

very nice macro lens
after being sucked into the world of macrophotography with close up filters on various lenses, I decided I wanted a dedicated macro lens.....getting this lens used under 280 bucks very much worth it....2nd lens purchase of $200 or more.....it is certainly a superior jump in quality over close up filters and worth the expense..... I am very pleased thus far purchasing the tamron 90/2.8

over achieving lens for the price
very good lens for the price and has pretty much replaced the 18-55 kit lens on my pentax K-r....the macro function is quite good with the use of close up filters...in particular a +4.....and the main reason I got the lens as I do not have the funds to get a dedicated macro lens.....glad I took a chance on this as a low budget buyer
