Saved my Christmas cake!
Our Kenwood Chef ( bought in 1984) went up in smoke whilst my wife was mixing the ingredients for our annual cake making ritual with our grand daughter.
She managed to finish that one but had another coming up and needed the Kenwood to be working for the following week.
I ordered the parts and they came very quickly with good instructions and a point of reference
The parts needed soldering in ( not easy) and you need to have a basic knowledge of soldering with the right tools
However, I soldered the parts as per the instructions, put the mixer back together and was pleased to say it started and worked 1st time, with no smoke!
My wife got the ingredients together for cake No2 and the Kenwood worked perfectly resulting in a very happy grand daughter, a beautiful cake which is going to be iced this weekend and then eaten by the family at Christmas
All together, a good product which hopefully will keep the old Kenwood going for another 30+ years
