Excellent and Interesting DVD
This was an amazing and very interesting DVD set. While I was aware of a few of the escapes during WWII, there were several included in this DVD set that I had never heard of.
Our brave Heroes of yesterday and today must be remembered. Great Escapes of World War II should be a MUST in for all Jr. High and High School history classes to watch.

You need to purchase and read this book!!
1 von 1 finden das hilfreich Reading "The Bottom of the Sky" is the literary equivalent of the autobahn. You begin at Zero and soon your emotions, thoughts and everything you THOUGHT you knew are speeding by at 175 MPH. (Or perhaps I should say 241.40 KPH)
Warning: Once you begin reading this book everything in your "Real" life fades away. It is one of those very few books that will hold your attention and it takes a lot of strength to put it down before you are completely through reading it.
This book is not for the faint of heart. It is about abuse of basically everything: Abusive Parents over Children, Abusive Relationships, Abusive Employers over their Employees and Customers, what Wall Street did to their Investors. The common denominator is Abuse by the Strongest over the Weak.
The prose that Mr. Pack uses places you inside the scenes. I Love the term "Dead Zoo" having personally seen these in restaurants and bars in Montana and elsewhere.
You become Levi, Lam, their Mother, Virginia, their Father, Frank or one of the other numerous characters. You are part of the book and what is going on whether you like it or not.
Do not read this book in a hurry, as you must savor each and every word. (I'm now re-reading it for the second time.)
Mr. Pack deserves the Pulitzer for this book. Bill, as we Montanans say, "You Done Well!" We are so proud of you!
I can't wait to see what his second novel is like!

We LOVE this!!
2 von 2 finden das hilfreich I purchased a refurb. Magellan Maestro 4250 last year as for my Husband for Christmas after doing a LOT of research. We were going camping in the Redwoods for Thanksgiving, so I broke down and gave it to him a little early.
What a blessing this was for us - Road construction, closed roads, etc. made us take several different routes than we normally do.
This automatically recalculates where you need to go and the voice telling you the directions is pleasant and clear. The screen is large enough to see without distracting the driver. The screen also dims down for night driving so you aren't distracted by the bright lights.
We loaned this to my Son while he drove to Montana this past August. He too loved this and he is very picky about anything electronic!
VERY EASY TO USE, quite unlike the Garmin I purchased a few years ago for my Husband. Our Garmin has been used only once because it is so difficult and complex.
I'd like to buy another one - for my Son this time!
