Nice Pearl Drill for the price
Once you figure out what all the parts are for and where to put them, it works just fine. The manual that comes with it is translated very roughly. The entire unit is quite heavy and didn't move at all on my first try. The motor unit should be closest to you and then you pull the pearl vise towards the drill - nice control that way. It comes with two "chuck keys" to loosen and tighten the drill bit - the one with the orange handle fits better than the smaller metal one. When I installed the "power-assist" purple handle underneath to help pull the pearl towards the drill, it wouldn't allow the drill to make it half way through the pearl..... so I removed that and was able to drill further into the pearl and then flip it and drill the other half through. I ended up turning the power dial to number 7 to make the drill work - it wouldn't even make any sound on a # lower than that. And, the little light gray tray goes underneath the piece you are drilling and just rests on the 2 screws behind to catch your drilling debris. That piece was not mentioned in the "included" list. The pearl vise really seems to hold the pearl in place nice and tight and with the 180 degree flip handle, it makes for precision drilling from both sides - very nice feature!!! Hope to use this machine a lot!
