Info
I like to make things, useful things mostly but not always. I m happiest when my hands are busy spinning fiber into yarn to knit/weave/crochet a hat/scarf/sweater/or even a toy, or painting, or even beading. Sometimes I even make music. ;-D

Quality paints worth your time and effort
Daniel Smith watercolor paints are professional artist's quality. If you think your paintings are, or will be, heirloom quality, you'll want your paint to be the best and this is one of the best ones out there.

Wanted to like it
First of all in case anybody else might be interested, the tin is approximately: 13.75 wide by 7 inches long by 1.5 (maybe closer to 2) inches deep. Which came dented and was my main purpose of the purchase. The included watercolor supplies were secondary and not impressive in the least. The tube paints smelled highly of medical supplies (iodine maybe?), and while the red, yellow, and blue mixed to make the secondary colors, they were dull looking and pasty. The rest of the set will be given to a neighbor child to play with, but I will include a much better pallet and brushes that won't fall apart on first use. So, unless you're only buying it for the tin, I can't really recommend this product.

Anna Zilboorg Rocks!
I bought this book "Magnificent Mittens & Socks" because it was written by Anna Zilboorg, who also wrote "Knitting for Anarchists". You can't go wrong with Anna! 'Nough said!
