Unknown material?
This seems much as I expected and plenty good enough for my needs, but the customs declaration said "Synthetic leather cord" whereas the listing said "Genuine leather cord". To be honest I can't tell which it is, as the diameter is too small to examine in detail, but other users may be more knowledgeable. Certainly other suppliers offer certified real leather and many less scrupulous suppliers conveniently forget to include "synthetic" or "PU" in their description of their plastic leather-like products. This product is OK for me either way, but vegans should make sure of the source.
