Great phase inverter
1 von 1 finden das hilfreich When people say use a 12AX7* as PI, don't listen. Use a high quality RCA or Philips 12AT7 (still available at low $). I speak from conviction and experience after testing side by side in an all-tube Egnater. Anybody could hear the diff. Don't get a JJ or TungSol 12AT7, they sound like chrome flakes peeling of rusty iron.

More detail, but less bass than the Shu Guang 6N5PJ
Pretty good driver for the Little Bear P8. It has slightly less bass, but more detail than the Chinese 6N5PJ stock tubes. You can pick out the different instruments, The Shu Guang bottle tube kicks more butt in the lower register.

No case, really?
1 von 1 finden das hilfreich You get a plastic envelope with the loose tools jumbling about inside . . . but the TORX are very, very nice. If you just keep the TORX and throw everything else away, it’s still worth the money.
