Just get one!
This is the 'must have' item in every photographers bag - hold on - actually it should be on your camera. Because of the simpler glass, picture quality is simply superb. The huge aperture this f1.8 gives provides the photographer with a whole new set of hours/light levels in which crisp bright photographs can be taken. Also the Bokeh that can be achieved really adds to shallow depth of field pictures. Finally, the small size of this lens means it is much less obtrusive when using it for street photography.
