Good Way to Save Money On Food
this is a great book showing how recipes are adapted for short rations back in the day. The recipes are easy to follow though some ingredients aren't as easily available as they were in the 1940's.

Weight A Minute
I'm really tired of cheap scales that are notoriously inaccurate and never seem to measure consistently. I've always liked the scale my doctor has in his office so I decided to buy one! This is the exact same brand he has. It's not inexpensive but it should last my lifetime without any problems. It wasn't hard to assemble and and I'm happy with my purchase.

Lightweight and Includes Everything
Seriously, I did not expect this kit to be of such good quality. First, it was listed as a open box but while the outer box was damaged slightly this didn't affect the contents at all. The nicely made nylon portable carry bag is made well with velcro closures and sturdy backpack style clasps. This kit has two output lights with a novel tripod hidden inside the bottom that pulls out and expands. The lights are of good enough quality for diffusion purposes (Remember it's NOT for direct lighting) and also included are 4 different colored backdrops, red, blue, black, and white. They did need to be ironed to remove the creases but that's not much of a issue. The camera tripod is sturdy and has a adjustable camera pivot. The kit makes quite a footprint for use but at the price I paid I am very happy to recommend this product, especially for taking photos for small items for sale on Ebay.
