ESV Literary Study Bible - $64.99 Retail - Brown / Parchment Archive Trutone

Good quality with readable format

I purchased this Bible a couple of weeks ago and I really like it. I chose it because I prefer a single column format, and because the ESV is a good translation similar to the older New American Standard translation I’ve always preferred. This Bible feels very good in the hand. The cover is soft and it has a good quality binding. I like the ivory color of the pages. The format is very readable. The commentary is informational and not necessarily inspirational, so I read it or not as I please. I do miss the cross references of my old NASB inductive study Bible, so I return to that one when I want more insight into a passage. I’m very happy with this Bible for its reputable translation, good quality and readability.

Ravi Zacharias is an excellent thinker and author.

I had borrowed this book from a friend because Ravi Zacharias is a thought provoking author and provides real nourishment to a brain in need of good food. His books are not a quick read, and in order to review what I had read previously when next picking up the book, I wanted to do some hilighting. So I went to ebay in search of a book of my own. I would recomment any book by this author, and it's not a bad idea to own your own copy so you can mark it up.
