All settings of the Speedport W504V can be changed with any browser except the DSL-settings.
To change DSL-connection-settings (PPPoE) you need to use Internet Explorer. With Chrome or Firefox it is not possible to change these connection-settings. Once set, you can use this router with any browser using any Operating System.
I tested using Win7 and Linux Mint 16 and 17

Works great for the price, but packaging could be better.
Only the plastic of the big fan is a bit weak, but it cools fine.
At the start about 5.5 A is pulled at 12V which goes down to 5A as soon as the temperature difference between both sides increases. You can use a lower voltage to have it cool less. At lower voltage the current is also lower. Don't forget however that peltier elements have low efficiency of about 10-12% so do not expect miracles.
