Inferior replacement
The photo shows the much needed insert plug at the bottom of the threaded base. Unfortunately, no insert, thus resulting in the head always dropping when water pressure changed. I am looking for an appropriate solution as this model is not.

Inferior New Design - Handheld OXO Cherry Pitter
1 von 1 finden das hilfreich After years of using an OXO Cherry Potter, the metal ring holding the clear exit tube broke. Had to replace it, naturally went with OXO. The new model has been constructed more cheaply, engineering out the metal ring, and replacing it with plastic. Clear tube disconnects and falls with the pit. Makes for a horrible mess.
Have noticed OXO is redesigning other classic kitchen tools, guess to drill costs out while retaining the unit sales price. Not a smart move for their kitchen tools are becoming cheap, and no longer reliable.
I am looking to replace this item. Any ideas?
