Stylish, but greatly reduces battery life
So I bought the cover to see what the official design is. I'm well aware of everything that's available on the market, I wanted to try something 'genuine' and 'original', thinking that LG would have put thought into making it.
It is well made, using thin plastic, that feels rugged nevertheless. However it doesn't offer protection on the upper, left and bottom sides of the phone, as they are exposed.
When you snap the cover on the G5, the phone would automatically detect it and switch the always-on display function on, which drains my battery a lot more than without the cover. Like 30% more per day which makes HUGE difference in the phone life.
