Well-written, comprehensive, and original, as it deals with courts beyond the usual.

Excellent Interpretation of Plato
This is the English interpretation of Plato's Symposium, a Socratic debate on the subject of Love.
Only a few years before Pico wrote this version, his friend and mentor, Humanist philosopher Marsilio Ficino, had translated the original Greek into Latin. But Pico must have decided this "conversation" needed to be made more readily accessible to the growing numbers of active readers in the Italian city-states.
Moreover, he subtly (and sometimes not so subtly) aimed his "translation" at a less elite audience. This was a revolutionary choice, though it's been largely overlooked for over 500 years.
An audacious little book, well worth reading.

"Tom Petty" used it to raise money....
Well made, attractive. We had "Tom Petty" wear it to a Halloween fundraiser, Saturday, then set it out for collecting donations, and it was very effective! (we added some details, like a photo-copy of his autograph....) The fact it arrived quickly helped!
