Native Americans would be proud of this flute!
This is is a very nice and beautiful flute. The finish is outstanding with virtually no flaws. The only reason I gave it a 4 rather than a 5 is the air channel and splitter. The channel was routed at 2 levels, with a very thin area, the length of the channel left higher than the rest of the channel. The splitter was off square and varied slightly in thickness. When first played there was a slight air sound no matter where the bird was placed. After about 10 minutes with a couple small files and chisels, this area was cleaned up and coated with clear gloss nail polish. The flute sounds fantastic now, even in the upper register. This flute could be rated a 5 with just a little bit more attention to detail! Still a great buy even as originally purchased!
