John Corey is Addictive!
Wow, I just love Nelson DeMille's character, John Corey ... starting with "Plum Island", I like reading them in order. This is one of the latest John Corey novels, and they are ALL good, in my opinion. What I like most is his sense of humor ... John Corey is brash, irreverent, and usually says things at which you cringe ... but he's also very smart and he thinks like a bad guy, so he usually wins at what he does. This novel is all about John, former NYPD detective, now with the Anti-terrorist Task Force, and his FBI-agent-wife, Kate Mayfield, who get assigned to the dangerous city of Yemen, to track down the Panther, an Al-Qaeda operative of high rank, who is apparently the mastermind of the bombing of the USS Cole. The story weaves in and out of adventure and blood-curdling danger, but like all of the John Corey novels, you will be splitting your sides laughing at some of his observations and dialogue. You won't be able to put it down ... yes, it's THAT good!

Great Loose Powder "Sets" Your Foundation!
I just love this Translucent version of Physician's Loose Powder. My routine is to clean the face and moisturize, then add foundation. On top of the foundation I add Concealer, if necessary, to cover dark spots or dark areas under the eye. Once the concealer is on, you're ready to dust on the Physician's Loose Powder. (Make sure that you keep it closed beforehand and turn it over, with a little tap to release some of the powder into the tray. That way, you get SOME of the loose powder but not too much.) Put the powder on with the powder brush that comes with it, and voila! The powder "sets" the foundation and concealer, allowing it to stay nice all day. Yay!

Best Little Highlighter in Texas!
If you're looking to shadowing your eyes for the best look ever, consider the highlighting effect of Mary Kay Makeup's "Crystalline". I add it under my eyebrows to open up the eye, and also to the area around the eye itself also for highlighting purposes. Then I add a darker color, and then just a "dot" of something in a similar color to what I'm wearing. Overall effect = stunning!
