Quality is long gone & not there anymore.
Not even close to the same White Mountain freezer your parents had, if you get one Summer of use you are lucky. The gears are cheap and now made in China and do not last; good luck in trying to contact the service center just to receive no service!

Nothing fancy, just very good basic southern country cooking.
Authentic country cooking and you cant get any better than that with the great recipes that you can actually enjoy and use.

Fun to read but not a cookbook to follow to make dishes from.
This should be viewed as a historical writing in the form of a cookbook because that is where it's value is. Entertaining to read but not much use as a cookbook. Many of the recipes have no measurements of how much to use of each individual ingredients. Recipes are written individually on a single pages normally only being 3 or 4 lines leaving most of the page blank, the whole book could have been printed on 1/4 of the space used.
