The only option left
Wiseco is a well known name in the industry. The best thing is that Wiseco offers an oversize piston, which Yamaha does not offer. This gave more life to my bike.

It worked just fine. But like all the "UNIVERSAL" products it needed some finishing .

IT DOES WHAT IT IS SUPPOSED TO , BUT NEEDED HELP
I have TTR125L with GYTR pipe and TTR125LE with Power Core 4 exhaust. I bought and installed Ricochet plates on both.
The plates are strong and protect well. The mounting points are easy to use. Here the good ends.
The first plate was hitting the exhaust and i had to cut pretty significant notch to make it fit. Does not seem to be a good deal, but why nobody thought about the original Yamaha racing pipe when designing the plate? The first thing the people do is to put performance pipe, even before the plate.
The second plate i installed on the el. start model. The plate was pushing on the starter motor. It could have caused a broken case under certain conditions. I shimmed the mounting brackets about 3 mm and the problem was solved. Easy, but WHY do i have to do engineering work? What if i did not pay attention? I paid almost 100$ for a piece of sheet metal, just because it was supposed to fit just right, and it did not.
Over whole great manufacturing and not so great engineering. If it was made in China, i was going to be happy , but i just expected more from something , that was made and priced in US.
