Amy Vanderbilt’s Complete Cookbook (1961)
I bought this book on a whim after reading an article about Amy Vanderbilt. Also, the cookbook's illustrations are attributed to "Andrew Warhol", and predate Andy Warhol's first New York solo pop art exhibition. I was kind of disappointed about the illustrations (very scarce and simple). Now, Mrs. Vanderbilt's recipes are another story, and one that didn't disappoint me at all. There are recipes for every taste, meal and occasion: hors d'oeuvres, dips, cocktails, pizzas, stews, deserts, recipes for formal parties, weeknight dinners, snacks, cookery terms, menus and much more. I would imagine that some of the recipes were all the rage back in the 60s, but I find that they are still relevant nowadays. In general, all the recipes are well explained and with ingredients that you can easily find everywhere these days. I would really recommend this cookbook!

Underdog T-shirt
I bought this T-shirt as a gift for my husband (no special reason) just because he loves Underdog! I bought size L (although hubby is size M) because I was unsure if the t-shirt would shrink after washing it. It did not! The quality is really good and the print hasn't faded at all.

Excellent cookbook!
I had been wanting to get this book for the longest time and I'm glad I finally found it! Great read and excellent recipes! :)
