A Book for Any Kitchen
1 von 1 finden das hilfreich This is a book I had bought when it first appeared, and somehow lost track of it. I was very happy to find a copy of it again on ebay. Clear type, good directions, and very useful recipes characterize this book. It enables the user to make his or her own baking mixes, relishes, condiments and candies, among other foods. Particularly valuable to cooks who wish to economize, or to use more fresh and local ingredients.
The Honey-Bran bread is so good that I make it as often as I can, rather than pay exorbitant prices for quality bread at the grocery.

Meet Pu, Porcellus et Ior, our old friends, in an older tongue. As delightful in Latin if you've had even just one year of the language, as it is in English. I first saw this many years ago and never forgot "Locus ubi vusillus aberat" "the place where the woozle wasn't", on the map.
