This book was bought as a present by request after the recipient had research her requirement, she is happy with it.

All the features you need
This guillotine has a blade lock to stop accidents in moving, it cuts straight and true, the paper guide is accurate and the base is sturdy but not heavy. I have cut single sheets of magnet backed paper without difficulty. I would recommend it for small to medium batch cutting.

Handy and light
Having lost the springs out of 2 pairs over the years, I find the ratchet alternative the better option. These are quite light but do the job and are less tiring to use if you have lots to do.
