Excellent piece of gear

I replaced an original series MULE (circa 2000) with this model. At first I was afraid that with the organizer pockets in the bottom pouch it wasn't going to hold as much as the original did. I was surprised at how much fit though. This is the first time I've used the "low profile" MOLLE loops. Seem to be a little harder to get things through, but they do the job. I added two MOLLE pouches and they are secure and don't bounce all over. Overall quality is typical Camelbak. This is about the 6th Camelbak product I've owned that I can think of. The padding in the shoulder straps seems a little stiff. I haven't worn without a jacket yet so not sure how they'll feel with just a T shirt on. The waist strap being removable is nice since I don't use a waist strap with packs this small. I like the underarm routeable drink tube option too. The new style bladder is nice. Looking forward to putting it through its paces this summer.

Another excellent cable! If you can get it from Bluemax49ers, don't bother with anyone else. Their cables work.
