Good Read
1 von 1 finden das hilfreich One in a series of books that have period comments about weapons which were, and still are, highly collectible. Interesting to read some of the first articles written by authors who are now considered to be the forefathers of the firearms collecting field. Good stuff!

Goes in to great detail on a little-known custom rifle of the early 20th century. Fantastic resource for a beginning collector of these high quality, custom rifles.

A Collector's Viewpoint
The major issues confronting vintage firearms collectors today are: Is it original, is it correct, and what variations were manufactured. Value is directly correlated to rarity and the originality of the of the firearm being viewed as an addition to one's collection. It is, therefore, absolutely necessary for the collector to know what is correct, what variations were produced and the idiosyncrasies of those variations.
If WWII manufactured Inglis Highpower's is your collecting thing; get this book. You can be armed with the information needed to avoid purchasing a collectible firearm that turns out to be not a collectible, at all. A small price to pay to avoid what could be a very costly mistake.
