More Dinosaurs, More Memories
It's hard to write a review for this movie because I'm extremely BIASED. The reason is because this was one of my very first dinosaur documentaries. It's completely 80's style and the information is a little off. They still call Apatosaurus Brontosaurus and the most updated film on it was Baby: Secret of the Lost Legend, but for me, there was a deep sentimental value to it. It was part of the reason why I became so fascinated with dinosaurs. So, despite the music and outdated information, it's just great to see a classic dinosaur documentary. Personally, all the best ones were made before 1995. After that, they've become very focused on special effects and not so much the facts. If you want to see a classic Dinosaur documentary, this is it.

Classic Childhood Dinosaur Documentary
I'm obsessed with dinosaurs. It all started when I was a kid and this was one of the documentaries that helped that fascination. Along with its predecessor, More Dinosaurs, it turned me into the dinosaur geek that I am today. However, it's funny looking at this film from an adult perspective. As a child, I was in awe. As an adult, I say to myself, "wow, I understand why my parents never watched this with me." When I watch it now, obviously the facts are a little off, but in general, the science is glazed over, they don't go into much detail about dinosaurs except for the bare basics, and the story of the two hosts is far-fetched, even for kids.
I don't recommend this film if you're serious about finding out information about dinosaurs. However, if you're a dinosaur like myself and you love nostalgia, this is your film. However, I'd recommend watching More Dinosaurs first before watching this one. It'll put you in the right mood.
