A classic!
This movie was a delight! A visual treat, with sumptuous costumes and an engaging story. You can see why Garbo was a legend in her own time! Wonderful character actors round out the cast of this sad romance.

Recapturing lost history
An interesting documentary on a facet of television history you probably didn't know about. Why don't we know more about Gertrude Berg? Thanks to this doc, now we do - a true pioneer, and a woman at that! Warm, engaging, and affectionate, I'm glad I got this!

Classic silent comedy...
These are classic silent comedies made by one of the best. Harold Lloyd was "one of us" - just a regular schmo who optimistically keeps trying to make good while the craziest things keep happening to him. And the stunts are unbelievable...they could never make these now. I would be interested in learning more about Carl Davis, the man responsible for the new musical scores for these films; he seems to have done music for many silent releases as well as British television shows. A very talented musician. And Harold Lloyd was a very talented funnyman - throw these on some rainy afternoon and treat yourself!
