Balkan Gypsy Music - "world class" World Music
This is really addictive music. Even if, like me, you don't particularly like brass band music, you'll love this. My son came home at Christmas with the CD which he had borrowed from the local library. I was upstairs when he started playing it. I stopped everything and went down to investigate. The music of Boban Markovic Orkestar featured on two of the tracks is electric....driving, syncopated brass, thundering drums and all interspersed with eastern instruments. I defy anybody to sit still whilst this is playing - it is so exciting! Having bought this CD via eBay, I have now ordered another complete CD by Boban Markovic Orkestar. I'm even considering whether I could go and see them playing live somewhere. I also need to get a decent subwoofer to upgrade my hifi in order to get the full benefit of their music.
Some of the other tracks are a bit wobbly and not exactly to my taste but it is quite clear that there are some virtuoso musicians playing a diverse range of instruments in the Balkans. All in all, I found the CD to be inspirational and well worth buying.

Amazing quality for such a low price.
This is the first non Billings kit I have bought. Its going together very well and the quality of the fittings is excellent and the general construction method seems pretty accurate and straightforward. The Youtube tutorials are a great help too. I would buy another Occre kit in future based on my experiences of this one.
