  I contacted the seller before I bid on the kitchen shears. I asked if they would cut up vegetables as I prepare a lot of leaf lettuce and I wanted them to help make that easier. The seller contact me after he had cut up a banana peel and some other item in his kitchen and said they worked fine. I knew if it would cut through a banana peel it would cut what I needed it to cut. They arrived on time, and I love them. I'm very happy with the seller and with my purchase.
