Draytek Vigor 2830 ADSL2/2+ Firewall Router with 4 Gigabit LAN Ports

Excellent business class router

This is the Swiss Army Knife of routers, including every feature imaginable, but the kitchen sink. Notable are its ability to act as a VPN host (watch UK catchup TV and gain secure access to your home network while you are abroad), intricate per device bandwidth management (prevent the kids from hogging all the bandwidth) and a 2nd WAN (Internet) port for an external Ethernet ADSL/VDSL/Cable modem (double or triple your overall bandwidth by combining 2 ADSL connections or 1 ADSL and a VDSL one etc). Despite its age this router runs circles around anything else on the market that is below the £80 price point. You can get a used one for £35 or less, which makes it a steal. The 2830n variant also has 300Mbit Wireless LAN built-in, however be sure to get the newer Dual Band version, not the older Single Band one, if integrated wireless LAN is a feature that you require. As of February 2016 Draytek still updates the firmware of this router, which does rather demonstrate their commitment to customers. This router comes highly recommended!
