As powerful as a gasoline trimmer
I'm new to battery powered weed eaters, but here goes. This being a refurbished item, I was totally surprised. I charged the battery (it takes about 2 hrs.) Plugged the battery into the trimmer and away we went. I have owned gasoline trimmers in the past, the price on this refurbed trimmer was right. It didn't back down to very thick, unclipped grass and weeds that my riding mower couldn't reach,. The battery lasts for approximately 37-38 minutes, but you can get a lot accomplished in that small amount of time. This trimmer features tap-n-go to advance the trimmer line and came complete with a wound head, 40 volt-3ah battery and charger. And as I stated earlier, the price was right. Yes, I would buy again and recommend to all my friends.
