Helps keep hot tub clean when I slack off.

LOVE mineral sticks! I do not put them in the pipe. I just leave it in the filter basket area with the filters. I also have ozone. In the winter, this stick is invaluable. It's -4 today. Who wants to go outside and maintain the hot tub? Not me. Between the ozone and this stick, the water looks great even when I get behind in my winter maintenance. Won't do winter without one.

A MUST-HAVE for your hot tub!

Really works to keep the water clear for a longer period of time. Several times during the cold winters, I have neglected adding more chlorine on a timely basis. I head outside, nervous about what I will find. To my great delight--nothing!! The water looks clear and fresh and tests normal. I try to make sure I have a new one by December to get me through the cold months for sure. I also just leave mine in the filter basket. I don't put it in the pipe. That way, when I forget about that too, I'm not nervous at all! I also feel I get a little more out of it that way. This is my secret weapon for easy spa care.
