Not bad if you get it for a good price

A whole lot crammed into a small package
There are many features (displayed in radio jargon) that can make the setup menu kind of intimidating, but if you learn what the "important" ones are and just stick to those, you will be fine. The FM radio and integrated LED flashlight are nice touches. My radio was bundled with an upgraded antenna and a replacement backing that allows use of regular batteries. Get the remote mic and charging base (for use with the rechargeable battery pack which is standard). Just for fun I sometime switch over to the Chinese voice prompts and scroll thru the setup menu ;-p
